For many years, the work and research of the Villa Romana Prize recipients has been published in the form of a collective volume. For this edition, which features the Fellows who were in residence in 2022, the publication takes a different form: Each artist’s work is presented in an independent volume, creating a mini-series of four artist books, conceived in conversation with the artist and our publishing partner Archive Books. A configuration of pages that materialised as a number zero of an editorial project that will unfold over the next Villa Romana Prize editions.
